Hi - I'm looking for a metal air filter box for a 72 911T 2.4 engine on Zeniths

Can anyone help? - thanks

I thought they were all plastic :)

Mine is metal..... well I think it is, it`s been plastic coated and you wouldn`t plastic coat plastic would you?

Can't help with the airbox but if you feel inclined to spend some time reading this thread you may pick up some valuable info. It starts off with a possible car purchase but quickly develops into an airbox thread. Thought it might be useful before you buy....

Hi,

Just in case it helps, make sure you get the correct snorkel which goes with the air box. For example the one previously pictured is an early one which uses 3 pull clips unlike from 69 when it uses 2 M6 wing nuts.

Also if you have a 2.4 and then retro fit an early metal housing you "may" also need the shorter pull clips which hold the air box down.
