Relay cover

Post by mycar »

Morning, what I`m after is a relay cover for inside the engine bay to cover over the electrics and to stop the rain messing things up.

The part number is, I think, 911 610 102 00,
With screws 900 253 003 02, although this may not be for the year I need, 1968.

Any ideas ?

Regards, Mike

Hi,

Mittelmotor sell the later ones 70-73, I don't know if they will fit.

Regards

68 911s did not have this cover, they were fitted from 1970. You can make one fit by attaching a bracket to the inner wing by the engine lid opening, and another for the lower fixing.

Thanks guys, very helpful. It seems a good idea to fit one as any rain passes straight through the grill into the electrics. I`ll look into it.

Cheers, Mike.
