Manufacturing month

Post by Mick Cliff »

Can anyone tell which month in 1967 my car was manufactured?
Chassis number is: 462328
[Reason for asking? A French member of DDK is contemplating its' purchase and seat belts are (apparently) not required for pre-Sept 1st 1967 cars. For later, i.e. post Sept 1st 1967 cars, only standard belts can be used - my car has full harnesses. You learn something new every day]

Can't tell you what month your car was built but it would have been before July '67 - the '68 models came out in Aug '67 & used a completely new style of chassis number (12 8XX XXX).
