Bolts

Post by Luke »

Hi guys,

I have a small problem, Porsche tell me that the front ride height adjust screws are NLA, and my local bolt place says that I have to order 50 as they're not a standard size (M12x1.5x80mm socket head).

My Question, will stainless steel be strong enough for this application? Also I can't seem to source the M14x1.5x85mm hex head bolt to fit the rear shocks on to (once I get the old broken ones out) again, would stainless be strong enough?

If so I'll order via Mr hot66, if not, does anyone know where I can get 2 of each? Anyone got some good condition one's lying around?

There is an excellent nut and bolt shop in Camberley that sells individual items - they've not failed me yet for HT or stainless steel items - and I needed lots of odds 'n' sods for my kit build.

They're on the A30

I always use AFC Arun Fastener Company on 01243 551484 for odds & sods.
If you want to give 'em a ring & check they've got what you want, I'll happily nip up the road, get them & bung 'em in the post.
