Hi Peeps,
I was after a bit of help regarding what price I should ask for a complete 356 super90 engine?
I let a good friend of mine have it but have not really sorted a price out yet. Was going to let him have it on a mates rate discount but have no idea of the going rate to start with.
I had no idea if the engine was a runner or not but he wanted to rebuild it regardless.
Any help would be appreciated.
PS Ive got the gearbox and running gear up fpr grabs aswell, where would be a good place to advertise?
How much do I ask for?

engines are a funny one I just bought on in the US for £150 $300 I just need a crank But on the whole 700-1300 for one that needs work or one that is complete and not sure about if it runs ok
£1500 for a super 90 the rest from there is about what's been done and can be proven that has been done.. and what some one will pay for it..
And yes my bargain engine is a result and no no one can have it..

I agree it all depends on how much needs to be done, it can be suddenly very expensive when parts need replacing. I bought a '58 1600 Normal engine (plus a few extra bits) not so long ago for £500 just for the parts.
Super 90s are supposedly more desirable because of the extra power so may have a small premium on it.
