Gt seats trimming

Post by Ren »

Hi All, anyone done the trimming on Alloy GT seats before?

I have the Autos international bits and pieces but no experience in doing this.

Southbound are booked up till April and will want over £400.

Any help or ideas?

Might be worth P.M.'ing Alan UK (Canford Classics): he mentioned that he's now got a very good trimmer. I seem to recall him saying that the chap was pretty versatile and happy to work on most things?

Or try my bloke at Newlook Interiors nr Peterborough. Works on anything you throw at him with amazing results... charges reasonably too

Dave,

How did you get on with the re-upholstery contacts? I'm currently searching for a good company to carry out the re-trim on my '58 Coupe.

Did you mention that you had bought covers etc from autos international?

Well, Dave at Airwerks wanted to get some fibreglass ones trimmed so I let him use my Autos Int kit as a template and he is passing the lot on to a friend who has said he can do it no problems. Hopefully he will try his skills on Dave Airwerks set before he tries the Autos kit on my Alloy seats.
