In dash heater controls for '73 914

Post by Racecraft76 »

Need a good working set of heater controls (the in dash sliders) for my '73 914 (they seem burnt out). I may require complete motor and fan assembly too.

Any one have such a thing languishing in the recesses of their garage?

A great big 914 shaped void.

I still have the complete system from the 74 parts car up for grabs but no way of testing it to be sure it's ok... anyone know how I can do this with it out of the car? :?: Or you could take it & try it & I'll refund you if it doesn't work :)

914 Heater Controls

Post by Andy914 »

Chaps, not meaning to sound rude or anything but the pics you have posted are for a pre 73 car.... 73-74 cars have script on with DEF OFF below the left down arrow DEF MAX below the other on the right, 75-76 are different again... I'm not sure but I have a hunch the wiring harness may be different? Can anyone confirm this??

Thanks
Andy
