OK I am definately up for going now I can't make the Wales trip. If Karting Nord and MB are all booked up where is best to try and book? I am a CLM virgin so not sure? Alternatively James have you heard back from ACO about increasing your booking? if so could you tag me + 1 onto that please? :)

From what I can gather those going to the 'proper' LeMans 24Hr have not heard anything yet ... Once the 24Hr is sorted then I think we will hear about the classic
Yeah I just two very polite mails back saying not to worry as they will go through all the applications in a month or so.

So all we can do is sit back and wait. :| I'm nervous... it would be good to be with the ddk mob this time around. Although it was really mega fun tearing around LeMans doing my own thing. Hunting interesting machinery, finding different spots to view, talking to everyone and anyone and even tagging along with some race cars be escorted through town. The rear gunner motorcycle cop let me join the convoy. :P Then the convoy started going a little faster than i was comfortable with so I peeled off. 8) cool though.. I digress.

On another note what are we all doing about parade laps? Do we have to join PCGB?
That was one of the best parts.

Hi Timo,

When I posted that I'd just tried to book KN, and the website said 'stock exhausted', and I didn't check again. Just now I looked and it said that stock was available. My mistake sorry, I should have checked again, I just assumed that it was all over....

So, book away!

One question though James: If KN is the other side of the track, surely you wouldn't be able to cross it to fraternise, or indeed after fraternising? Or am I misunderstanding the layout?

you can't cross the circuit directly between the 2 sites, but with a bit of a walk via the circuit central you can access MB.

Don't worry too much though, as you'll find you won't spend too much time at your campsite as there is so much going on elsewhere :)

The owner was obviously worried about his paint job, he made her strap a pair of tyres to her feet.
