Modern Stereo set up for 65-68 911 - SEPARATED

I've decided to sell the complete stereo set up I had in my 68S as it's just gathering dust in my Dad's loft and I have no idea when, or where, I'll be getting another 911.

I'd only just finished getting all the components together a couple of months before I sold the car so some of it is virtually new. The headunit was concealed away in the glovebox and the speakers under the dash.



It comprises of the retro-looking Pioneer DEH-P77MP headset in brushed aluminium - as far as I'm aware you can no longer buy it. It's in very good condition and comes with the instructions manual and wiring instructions and the case for the flip down front.

The Pioneer CD-IB100 ipod adaptor that plugs straight in the back of the headunit and then straight into your ipod - in perfect condition, boxed, with instructions.

The Alpine SWD-1600 powered subwoofer, that tucks nicely into the passenger footwell (I'd sticker it under the passenger side recaro sports seat whenever I parked up) to add some bass and give the system a fuller sound.

A Moch-1 underdash speaker unit that I imported from the US.

And, finally, two Pioneer TS-E1675 speakers - both of which are mounted in the Moch-1 underdash unit.

As I've said, the headunit, subwoofer, ipod adaptor and speakers are all in excellent condition.

The Moch is also in very good condition although I did have to cut a little piece out so I could reach under to press the starter button on my car. This doesn't effect the strength of the Moch and you can't see it when it's under the dash.

Together they make a perfect modern stereo set-up for an early 911.

I don't want to sell them separately as I have no need for any of it, so I'm asking £400 for the whole lot.

All the pieces are at my Dad's in Walsall. I'd prefer pick-up only, unless you're happy to pay the postage.

Hi John, I have a '68 build '69 MY 911T will the moch-1 underdash shelf fit?
If so I'll take it if you'll help with packaging for carriage.

The honest answer is I'm not sure. It's sold as a 65-68 so I'm presuming it's for short wheelbase cars (are swb and lwb dashes different???). From the sound of it your car is lwb.

It's for a LHD by the way, I forgot to mention that slighlty important piece of information.

I figured that'd be your answer! I'll email moch-1 & ask him.

I prefer LHD. You can rest your left leg against the door and I read somewhere that they're made with a different metal than the RHD cars that takes longer to turn to rust.
