You can get new repro ones from a guy in Italy. I saw one on his stand at the Silverstone Classic; made in Germany, it looked very good and was £350. Ian Donkin bought one, so it would be asking him how well it fitted.

They are available new from porsche as well if you have £800 to spare. Be interested to here from Ian when hes got his fitted £350 certainly seems resonable for a new repro one if they turn out to be good.

Not fitted mine yet, but as per Nick's comments the quality seemed very good - only (lots of) time will tell how easily they go in...
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands
I also remember seeing a guy on German ebay selling repro LHD dash tops might be worth a look. I contacted him a while ago re RHD dash tops.
I wonder if the £800 ones from Porsche are the fixed speaker grill type or they making a correct dash top with removable grill. The several Porsche tops I have had all had the fixed speaker grill.
Porsche Classic were at the Oldtimer GP in August and I enquired about the dash they are now supplying again. Only doing LHD (they didn't know if they would do RHD) and yes it is the one with the removable speaker cover which they are also going to supply. They brought it up on their stock system so you should be able to order it through your local OPC.
Price for the complete dash? Can't remember exactly but enough to send me straight back into the beer tent!
