BARGAIN 944 S2 FOR SALE!! - SOLD

Post by 964RS »

1989 Porsche 944 S2 For Sale

Guards red with black half leather and logo fabric interior with electric seats/mirrors/sunroof and multi cd-player.

Car featured in GT Purely Porsche in both February and April 2007.

Full service history with 31 stamps! A full file of all original invoices and MOTs going back to 1996 are available. Car is taxed and MOT’d until April 2008.

Last full service 11 months ago (7,000 miles ago) – since then a new MAF sensor has been fitted, complete new set of spark plugs and plug leads fitted, new water pump fitted and replaced cam belts and balance belts totalling nearly £1,500.

In the last 10,000 miles the following has been done by Zentrum, Porsche Independent in Nottingham, at circa £8k:

4 new tyres
Full set of new fuel pipes
Brake fluid change
New brake hoses and pipes
Newly refurbished wheels
Full wheel alignment
New anti roll bar bushes
Full photographic documented engine rebuild 10,000 miles ago including removed engine, full strip down, full re-bore, alu-seal and new liners and rebuild. Most engine parts replaced with new when rebuilt.

Current mileage is 125,000 but as you can see the engine is just about brand new – the gearbox and clutch are both smooth and everything works as it should.

Interior is in excellent condition, exterior commensurate with the cars age and mechanically the car is superb.

Absolute bargain price of £3995. No offers.

Genuine sale as car has been replaced as daily user by 996TT.

No tyre kickers or time wasters please – just turn up with the cash and drive it away!

Pictures to follow. Car located in Nottingham.

Okay washed and polished it this morning and now seriously in 2 minds about selling and maybe just keeping and using over the winter? Taken some pics but my camera is obviously on its way out as had to take them with the flash in the middle of the day......they really don't do it justice.

If the 944 is still for sale, I might well be in the market...
I won't be able to get up to inspect for 3-4 weeks, but if you haven't sold it by then, it appears to be what I'm looking for.
