Early Thursday or Wednesday night sounds fine to me. I'm easy either way. Let's make decision and get the Ferry booked

would like to book this soon. Just checked their website & the price has already gone up to £43

Ferry times are every 2 hours.

Options are:

THURSDAY:

10am Dover ferry ( arrive 1pm local time) , too late?

8.00am ferry from Dover arrive 11am local ?

Would everyone be able to make the 8am ferry?

Monday

4pm Dunkirk, arrive back 5pm UK time

How does this all sound?

I can also enquire about a 'group booking' to see if we get a discount.

Thanks for the tip James, personally would prefer the wednesday evening crossing / hotel for a night in France option so might meet you en route on the thursday morning and book seperately.

Was thinking of doing like last year and staying over there for a few days after the race and make a bit of a holiday of it - so will be returning at a later date anyway :)

As I mentioned on earlier posts, my firm places around 25,000 people per year through P&O Dover/Calais.

I've just sent a query to my contact at P&O asking for her best deal for between 10 & 20 cars leaving Dover approx 8am 11/07/08 returning approx 4pm 14/07/08. Their current website price is £40 per car + 2 adults, so I should be able to get us a good deal.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything....
