The 'Maverick' Classic Porsche Forum and Classic Porsche Club for Porsche 356, Aircooled Porsche 911, Porsche 912, Porsche 914 & Porsche Replicas. 'We join for the cars but stay for the people'
On Sunday I am leaving for a PreA meeting in Switzerland and have decided to drive there this time. You may remember some photos of last year's meeting in France were posted and I am hoping this year it will be just as much fun.
There should be around 15 cars there. Will post photos when I get back.
Wish me luck!

Please take lots of photo's of any 54 cars as I would like to build up a file on what goes where.. Knobs and badges and esp interiors eg cordrouy seats inserts and how wide the cordroy is?? etc etc where they all go.. and or any emails of the owners
I know that externally they are different but is there any difference between the interior on a '54 and a '55. I am hoping to meet a guy there who has a very original one and will be able to take lots of photos for you.

Bleedin' 'ell guys give me a chance!
I've got a ton of work to catch up on, but should have some pictures on today.
The meeting was smaller than I'd hoped with only 8 cars, but what a location.
Saw every 356 I could ever want to as well as a 1952 "Dannenhauer & Strauss" with original 356 1300 engine and several other classic and modern cars.
Am uploading photos onto photobucket as I write this!

The main day of the meeting was partly taken up by a 110km run around Chateau d'Oex and Gstaad.
We stopped in a small town for coffee and for some to buy wine.
Then on to lunch which was at the top of a pass (approx 1700 metres)
The Dannenhauer & Strauss car.
Beautiful '53 coupe.
And a '51 coupe.
We then stopped off at the local Porsche/Ferrari/Posh Car garage just out side Gstaad.
The were restoring some nice cars at the back of the garage as well!
We were then invited downstairs into the cellar where they kept cars for "special" customers. We were told that if a customer rang up wanting his/her car then the car would be serviced and ready to go within 24 hours!
And of course the Otto Mathe coupe.
Of course there was lots of cheese!
