broken accelerator pedal

Post by DamianF »

hi folks

my accelerator pedal is broken, wobbles around - Berlyn Services have what looks like a replacement part 901-423-010 - anyone know if this is the right one for my 73T and whether this is an easy fix??

thanks

Yes, Pelican have that number as the accelerator pedal for 65-77.

In what way is the pedal broken ?

If it broke like mine it will be the hinge area rusting in the damp footwell, it then goes all floppy.

I replaced mine with a later part, which is injection moulded, picked up at an Autojumble. It fits in exactly the same manner. Two fixings into the floor and pop the rod into the ball joint on the back.
