New 1967 /912 owner form Coatbridge Scotland

Post by asrad5 »

Hi Just new on to this site and thought i'd drop you all a line about my 67 912 left hander, i went down about 8 weeks ago to Peterbourgh where i picked her up from and drove all the way back to Scotland, that day was when Enland had been hit by the worst floods in a long time, took me about 12 hours to get home :( , but the car got me there in the end... its now in my garage at home :) with all the bumpers off now.. preped for paint, the car is solid all round with bit of surface rust here and there, its picked up some small dent here and there too, but have most of these in hand now,the rest of the cars paint work will have to be taken down to bare metal as its covered in cracking, this is proving harder than i had first thought but i'm getting there, the rubber on most of the car is shot and will have to be replaced but looking into that just now, all underside will just need a wire brush to it and some paint to bring it back to new its that good under there .... was looking about here to see if i could upload some pictures of it but cant seem to see how to do this from here ..any hints guys and i'll send some in of the car and its progress .....Allan
