1967 Bahama Yellow 912 RHD=*sale withdrawn.*

Post by hunter »

Ok - it looks like i might be selling my car. We have a baby due in about 5 days and i just dont think i will have the time or money to put into her.

She's a RHD ex south african model that was delivered in Sept 67.

Bodywork is very good with no corrosion and although the paint finish is not the best she still looks really nice.

The solex's have been rebuilt and there is an RSR0012 with pertronix fitted.

I have a raft of bills and info on her.

For further details please pm me

Have to say this is Sad news.. This car has been around the 912 circuit for some years. It just gets better and better. One Helen should buy and KEEP!!

Personaly I have bought a Baby seat for my 912 fits perfect and I for one can't wait to take Junior out and about in the 12. 2 weeks to go for us..

This RHD 912 I think is a blue chip investment.. good luck with the sale but I hope you don't sell it.. 5 years down the line it going to be worth good money. Sell with Andy and get top dollar for it..

bought a Baby seat for my 912 fits perfect
Not wanting to hijack this thread, but what car seat did you buy? And is it for the front or back seat(s)?

Cheers.

Just to add my 2p, don't sell - it's way too nice. 8) 8)

RHD 912s are going to keep rising in value and you might not be able to get another when the young'un is old enough to enjoy it too (as a passenger  ).

Arr yes I popped into Mother care on Sunday with Audi and Porsche and it was the first one we tried. I did take my camera but in the rush to get it all sorted and the panic my car was in a public car park!!! :?

I didn't take any ..

I can get model number but be quick they are changing the design and price

It was ment to be £170 for the seat base and push chair!! and we got it for £130 I think. silly money as we where set for £100 base £150 seat

I do think it's a boy now ...... it now has 3 push chairs!!! Dad's got 3 Porsches seams alittle to close for comfort!!!

  oh BTW my seats in the 12 are the nurburg seats and thought I would have to change back to standard seats but no it's a perfect fit..

that will be a rear facing baby seat for the front then?

Forward facing rear seats are a bit more of a challenge in a 911 / 912 ( for when the sprog is over 12 months old & can support 'its' head )

I have 2 child seats in the rear of my 911 for trips out with my daughters 8)

Hi all

I hope i've answered everyones pm's now.

I think i was probably just a tad premature in placing the ad.

Thats not to say its not for sale - it just means i need to sit back and have a little think - I would hate to wake up and realise i'd made a huge mistake.

Sorry, i know i should have done the thinking in the first place. But you buggers saying dont sell (including Mrs H), really has an effect.

Anyway never say never.........
