Helen give Alex a call at Retro Motor company I know he has limited stock now but he may just have some of the odds and ends you are looking for..

The tappet washers are these the wavy washers.. if so I managed to get some from RB but found my local RS Radio Shack had them in as well

sounds like you are getting there much better than I am...
