But yes, in this instance, Mark has decided to sell his cars as a job lot (see PCGB forum) and concentrate on Jo and his soon to arrive buba.

So the lots up for sale as a job lot. so for 4 pot fans it's a dream collection. one of the first 356's one of the first 912's and one of the last 912's Porsche 356 Pre A 1954 restoration project. Many new parts ( lights, carpet set german square weave all the rubber you need.ALL NEW ) and also a rebuilt engine by John Lucas. ( ex 356 racer ) Gear box and lots of photo's of before the car was taken apart the shell is one of the best rust free solid shells I have ever seen. Shell is stripped and in etch primer. Car comes with the trolly it's mounted on. Also I have a rottisery I am 1/2 way though making.
This is a VERY good project not your usual junk.
A 1965 3 dail Porsche 912 4sp in silver and red interior. Project car but again nice and solid. and could be made with little effort into a nice running car.
A Porsche 912 1969, this has been my baby for many years and is almost as perfect as you can get. A well known car and in Burgandy red. Nurburge seats many many many new parts.
5sp, 6" alloy Fuchs wheels But the engine has a broken ring due to a long trip to Scotland and will need replacing. It's the spare engine as the orginal engine is out and is ready for a full rebuild.
The parts include Shasta P/C set 1720
SX1 cam shaft
Alloy Oil cooler
Leightweight Pulley
Full Lux gasket set
New valve springs
Full flow oil filter system
plus many many new parts
also so many parts it will fill an estate car
set of 4 14" fuchs wheels
set of 2 5.5" wheels and 2 Deep 6 Fuchs wheels polished
2 sets of steel wheels and caps
New 901 bonnet
spare 912 heads x2
Spare 356 heads x 4
spare rear shocks 911 1971+ Koni Adjustables NEW OS
2 interiors for 912/911
6 spare carbs 4 for 356 and 2 for 912's
Tin ware heaven loads!!
boxes of spare parts I mean BOXES!!
Over riders x 8 +
rear deco bar
very rare single rear deco bar
front deco bar
S bumper
bumper trim ( alloy )
New front shocks for the 912
4 new shocks for the 356
6 050 disy's
031
061
009 x 3
oil cooler
Exhausts x 3 including a new Bursch
battery cover
Porsche number plates VOU 912
EDZ 914
911 S side trims as well..
More stuff but I can't remember what else I have bought over the last 10 years this is just a list off my head.
Just forgot to mentions for the orginal engine has a crank as well and that has been reground to 2 second under and is with AJP racing and is a good crank I also have 4 sets of rare bearings as well NEW in box.
So much stuff it will take a day just to get it all out the sheds!!
Why am I selling, to be honest the break down in Scotland was the last straw as I will miss another event I was looking forward to, Silverstone classic. So with new baby coming I've had enough..time to spend with my family rather than the garage.
I ONLY !!! want to sell job lot... not interested in ANY way for one item here and there..
serious offers only, it's open to anyone as it's also listed on pistonheads and I would like to think I can get some thing sorted by the end of July other wise I will open it up to Ebay or dealers.
Oh and 100's of books and Sales Brochures. I have a figure in mind so no dreamers.. !!!!!! or swaps

Big shame. I went through this with my first chap... stuck everything in storage for a few years and then came back to it later! Went to look a few times a year but didn't even lift a spanner or do any dusting. Personally, I'd keep the 356 and related spares in storage and sell the modern stuff. The rise in value over a few years will easily cover the cost of storage and when the babies get their independance Dad's going to need an outlet other than www.porn.lefthand
Good luck Mark

it's not all bad news, thanks to Darren for some help this weekend it seams my ( spare engine ) is in not to bad shape other than a broken valve guide so I hope to get it back on the road soon.
But yes i will dropping out for abit to take on family life for abit. Cars will come second and I will be putting the 54 in storage and selling the 65 car via Max once it's finished.
Will sort out the basket weave soon, have fun.

Yep Silver with red interior and some nice bits and bobs. Steel wheels with option for Fuchs wheels. Lots of history with it. A very speical and one off dash board.
Poss will be repainted also only as a job to make it even more nice.
But it is a genuine 65 912 and not a later 66 so it will be on a " C " plate..
should be ready end of the year. If not sooner. Was Jo's car but we will not be needing it

Darren yes it's about space rather than wanting to really sell it but it will have to go so I can have my garage back to two cars. Then to put the 54 in long term storage for even more room for bikes and plastic toys for kiddy stuff..
the smoky 912 in Scotland was due to this.. nothing I could have done to prevent it as it is an orginal guide so 35+ years of use I guess I can't complain just shame it broke in Scotland after all that work before hand..
