Attention 912E Owners {and 1974 to '77 911 Owners too}

Fudge is back from the OPC in Leeds,

The tough bit was trying to get a new rear '74 to '77 reflector strip and new US spec rear over riders cos they now appear to be UNOBTAINIUM

Neither Porsche in Reading or Stuttgart or any of the reputable indepandants both here and the USA had any about .

Thanks be to the Porsche Gods that i bought a set of over riders from Nige and that the reflector strip was repairable .

Early Impact Bumper cars are now getting into the NLA / Unobtainium league in regards to spares availability.

Look after your 912E and start stocking up on bumper and trim parts NOW!!!

I'm sure those reflectors strips are still available, they probably noticed the price and thought no way

I got the repair estimate from JCT600 which i'll show you at the TiPEC do. Porsche do list the reflecter strip at £546.39 but the cupboard was bare in both Reading and Stuttgart. Pelican have them on their website but they too are out of stock likewise Roger Bray, Transend et al!!!
FWIW the other driver accepted full liability so her insurance is paying up and not mine.

Jeez... cant' believe the price of those reflector strips!!! Anyway, glad the Fudge is all sorted Rick. I'm getting mine back on Saturday Just needs MOTing and she'll be ready to head off to Tipec bash!
