Door mirror

Post by Racecraft76 »

I have a chrome 914 door mirror which is surplus to requirements as I am no longer going to fit it.

A DDK member has expressed an Interest in It, but I have no Idea what its realistic value is. I know how much I paid for it, But dont want to rip anyone off (especially as there is a wealth of info here and I wouldnt have even got my 914 if it wasnt for people here) as I have no Idea if i paid over the odds for it.

Any input appreciated.

I can post pics if required.

If I recall correctly, when I needed a mirror, one of the regular 'buyers&sellers' on here offered me a reasonable 2nd hand one for £70 or a very good one for around £100. I didn't buy either of them by the way.

I was lucky & got one with the 74 that I'm now breaking but when I was looking on German Ebay a while back, you could pick up a decent one for around £30 + the postage

Recently there seem to be a lot of Honda S600/800 mirrors listed under 914 :?: I don't know how they fit/look on a fourteen though

From '914 Parts'
The Honda S600 mirror is similar to the Durrant Mirrors on the 911/912's but I think the 914 is unique.
