Must admit.........DDK certainly shines when it comes to helping their fellow porsche enthusiasts. :)

Picked the car up this morning from the garage. Not only would it not stay in second, it didn't like third much either! Not a very enjoyable drive. The previous bodge job certainly masked a few sins as the gear shift now feels like it's conected to... well actually it doesn't feel like it's connected to anything! I think the saying is "stirring porridge" :lol:

So I've just ordered a new six part shift bushing kit. Hopefully this will help stiffen things up a little. :wink:

No all bad news though, no oil leaks and the engine is running well, pulling harder and certainly quieter than I remembered. :)
