Argyll Classic Run 2007

Just to say thanks to Bob (914bob) for telling us about the Argyll Classic Run which me, Bob and Mike (210bhp) did today. Weather wasn't great, but can you expect in March in Scotland, but the turn out was great and so was the tour. We entered a DDK team but needless to say we won nothing. Nice also to meet Bob's wife Charlie and their lovely daughter Amy. Mike also brought along a very nice man

Great to see Mike looking so happy !!

I was so looking forward to the run up the old 'rest' and despite getting a bit of nice sideways action on the final hairpin following a perfect drop into 1st gear if truth be told the old road was a 'midden'. When it was all over at the lunch stop I was thinking '10 minutes of pleasure and now two days of cleaning'. Hence the long face. The bacon butties were 'mince' too.
By the way...I had a great day. It's the people that count. My mate with the 'baw heid' had a great day too. His first experience of an early 911.
