CDI Update

Post by Bootsy »

Some of you may recall that my CDI was playing up, I fixed it (yeah right!) and then it conked out completely. Well, I was going to use the Bosch Head Office service but didn't as finding out any information proved very difficult so I found these guys http://www.esalternators.co.uk/ - anyone know them?

Sent mine off - basically they replace the whole board - it's £200 or so.

Works fine and is guaranteed for a year so I'll let you know if it has to go back in the 12 months!

Tim, your kindly loaned spare will be winging it's way back shortly.

Did they change just the board or the other components too ! There is quite a lot of stuff not mounted on the board that dies !
Cheers Tom, Strangely I was just ambling along thinking about exactly this :)
Cheers
