.... the anchor point on the inner rear wing for the front seat belt (for a '68 swb car).

I plan to re-make this seatbelt fixing point using a threaded boss welded to a reinforcing plate but I'd like to check first how it should look.

no picture showing have you hosted the picture to a web site like Photobucket or Buzznet (both free) then copy the url and paste between the [img]...here...[/img] in your post
