Re: Which Engine Oil
It depends on your exact engine, I don't mean what year. I mean what condition is it in... A fully or semi synthetic is great, if you do 10000 miles a year, and/or regularly drive the car with an oil temperature around 110 to 120 deg C, and/or you have a recently rebuilt engine. If you engine has br...

Re: bouncing fuel needle!!
I reckon its the gauge, I have changed senders had still had the same problem, I never changed the gauge so I will never know the answer on that particular. car. If your sender is old, then change it anyway. A second hand gauge may have the same problem so will be pot luck. Your sender is working in...

Re: Advice please
Well i cannot comment on your specific situation, all I can say is this. I am in the motor trade. I have worked on cars since 1992, and currently specailise in Air Cooled Porsche, with 90% of it being 911's. All I can say is things can happen. Coincidental things do exist, as do f*** ups. Even with ...

they are out there at that price, in fact still in the 10-15k bracket, but of course getting harder and harder to find at that price. There is a blue coupe on ebay at the moment for 20k starting bid, which has been relisted a couple of times with no bids. It did actually get 1 bid back in august (at...

Re: 73T: Indicator mystery
on the rear lights, ahh you have the ones with the earth on the bulb side of the cluster. Thats good, you wont have any problems with those. There are some where the earth is on the lid/cover/wiring cover, where the wires come through into the cover, and those i add another wire to earth to the bulb...

Re: 73T: Indicator mystery
On the indicator issue First off all you MUST have good earths on all 4 corners for the lights. I have found lights behaving stangely with bad earths in just one corner. I have a 67 were one bad earth will stop the indicators working on all 4 corners. REPLACE the earth connections in the loom, at th...
