All the best

Re: electronic ignition installation 69'912
Happy with the 123 ignition system and fitted the 'Flame Thrower' too. So off the car went to the rolling road. It took them about 20 mins to realise that there was a problem with the Solex's :( They believe that the butterflys are not making a complete seal thus air is getting sucked in creating th...

Re: Windscreens
Thanks for this post Lee, I'm planning on replacing the rubbers on both the front and rear sceens on my 69 this summer.
Bit of a drive from Cambridge but I think these people would be perfect to use.

Re: These cars can be strange
I'm already learning that they can be a cruel mistress ;) After having the new 123 ingniton & coil fitted and carbs tuned last week, I'd been looking forward all week to getting the car out on Saturday, so with a spring in my step i went to the garage, three pumps of the pedal before turning the...

Thank you everyone for your comments, really helpful.
I'm going ahead with fitting the 123 kit this weekend so hopefully she'll be running sweetly for the summer.

electronic ignition installation 69'912
Morning, I'm thinking of fitting an electronic ignition kit and wondered if anyone had any recommendation, scare stories, or experience with running a elec ignition. Also any recommendation of where to have fitted would be helpful too. I've got solex carbs if that makes any difference. Cheers Tim

Re: New to 912 ownership
Hi David, Welcome to the forum. I've just taken delivery of my 1969 912 a couple of weeks ago. I'm based just outside of Cambridge and am also learning fast about these cars. Mine is getting an MOT while I wait to register it at the DVLA. Pleased to report no real issues, car is as it was described....

Re: 912 day at Andy Prills?
Afternoon all, I would be up for this, would be great to meet with a few other 912 owners and pick their collective brains. I have 69 due to be delivered later this month so I'm just starting off down the flat-four path so eager to meet others owners. I live just outside Cambridge so this is pretty ...

Thanks Timo,
The passenger side floor looks a mess i know, thanks for the suggestion on the screen seal. The owner had just finished washing the car when the video was taken so that might explain the water patch.
Just have to wait and see i guess.

Hi Sean, Great news, This will be my first vintage porsche so the more advice I can get the better. I have friends in Harpenden and Wheathampstead so i'am often over your way. I live in Royston so about 30 mins away. Would be good to meet up once the 912 arrives and is ready. It's not your 912 that ...
