I have used an oscillating multitool with great result. You can compliment with a heat gun if you want to, or without if you don't appreciate the smell of heated petroleum underseal for another day.

Re: Tractor owners - Please post photos of your steeds
I bought a new exhaust and put on new tires on the freshly painted rims and gave it a Gibbs oil treatment ...and got the beauty started, knock knock :bounce: It just goes backwards but who cares for now. I love everything with it, the sound - the smoke - the look - and it brings such a charm :cheers...

Re: The Manhattan Project
So today's question is were '74 cars only ever delivered in either cinnamon, russet or midnight blue interior colours? Could you buy a '74 with an actual black interior? The first short answer would be Yes and No. But after seeing the "NOTICE Special colours see special colours chart" on ...

ooouuuuuch, such a nightmare to find out. I feel for you as well.
I hope my shell is ok, maybe I don't need to worry when it wasn't chemically stripped. But I didn't have the window frames in place when test fitting before paint!

Re: The Manhattan Project
Just spotted Ben's post. When you see the the two velours in the farbkarte, how do you tell you have “special velour” and not “velour”? did Southbound have a card with velour as well that you could rule out? My COA states 'Brown/Beige Leatherette with Leather Seats' but then COAs are often full of ...

I'm not sure what the original colour is called - possibly beige. http://team21.se/91174/interior-coa.jpg My COA http://team21.se/91174/interior-farbkarte.jpg The Farbkarte say interior trim colours are “Cinnamon”. I think most people say the color is tan. http://team21.se/91174/interior-farbkarte-...

Re: The Manhattan Project
Still undecided what to do with regards to the oil pipe. I've been looking at images of other pipes and I could be persuaded that they all look fractionally shorter than the one I have. Does anyone have a measurement at all? http://team21.se/91174/oil-line.jpg I tried to take measurements on my old...

Here's my beast, an Allgaier A111 from 1955. It's been sitting for ~25 years. http://team21.se/55a111/hamtad_.jpg when picked up http://team21.se/55a111/framdel-efter-tvatt.jpg I found a nice Allgaier logo after a day with the power washer, my plan is to remove the red and creamy paint job and weep ...

Re: The Manhattan Project
Can you tell me are both horns attached to a single piece 'U' bracket or two separate arms ( it's tricky to tell from the photo )? I ask as I have a 'u' shaped bracket and at least one separate arm. http://team21.se/91174/tuta__.jpg[/img] Not a u bracket, but two separate arms I have trial fitted t...

Re: The Manhattan Project
My new horn set has arrived, so I am trying to figure out exactly it fits under the passenger side wing. I have the wing brace a 'u' shaped horn bracket and two other brackets. The PET diagram isn't that clear and my car had an air horn fitted when I got it so I have no photo to work from, and not ...
