Re: Arches

Squirdan, thanks for the help, yes I think 9 inch rears are more than enough, car currently has turbo frt and rear wings, but I'm now 100percent sure these will be going once the resto starts. I like the look of a flared arch / outlaw style so I'll keep gathering ideas at the moment, I know I'll Hav...

Re: Arches

Greame and nick, thanks for the replies, car I've just bought has turbo arches on it and I'm thinking of ideas for it's final style (a long way down the road), along a st/outlaw style but was unsure about the width and style of the numerous models of arch available. So far greame, I've had a quick l...

Re: Hello

[quote="squirdan"]Good luck with this project.... I saw the ad on piston heads a few times and chuckled because trying to sell a v8 powered forward dated classic 911 from the western isles did seem a mission impossible! Squirdan, when you put it that way it doesn't sound as appealing to me...

Re: Hello

Hot 66, James, I know what you mean looking at people's locations south Cumbria seams to be very popular for early 911. I have had an exchange of pm's with johnm who is just a mile or so away from me and invited him to come and have a look and advise me,......Mark..

Re: Hello

Yes it is an early car forward dated, the frt wings are f/g as are the rear arches, I have found what I think is the original colour around frt suspension mountings a dark / chocolate brown, will look for the paint tag today"..........Mark..

Re: Hello

Yeah it looks good there but the wheels have gone and the v8 that was in the back of it, it now stands on a miss mash of thin steel wheels and minus the engine it looks like a drag car about a foot of air between the rear wheel and arch."...........Mark..
