Re: Hello
Car now at home, really good road trip, roads surprisingly quiet set off at 6am back and unloaded by 1330hrs, will learn how to do pics and get posting some soon, not in love with the width of the rear turbo arches will have to look at some st or similar types, what do you guys think.......Mark..

Re: Hello
Yeah it looks good there but the wheels have gone and the v8 that was in the back of it, it now stands on a miss mash of thin steel wheels and minus the engine it looks like a drag car about a foot of air between the rear wheel and arch."...........Mark..

Re: Hello
Welcome to DDK Mark
Nice buy if I remember the shell price correctly. Glad you got it back safe and well. Came from the Western Isles right?
Can't remember from the ad but are those arches, front and rear, metal or not?
What was the original colour? (code number tag inside the left A post)
Good luck and I think you will get all the help you need here. Depends what you want but I imagine you will get a suitable engine and box here too if you put up an ad.
All the best
Regards
Mike

Re: Hello
So is this an early car that was "forward dated"?

Barrow & the lakes seems to becoming bit of a hot spot for early 911's

Re: Hello
Yes it is an early car forward dated, the frt wings are f/g as are the rear arches, I have found what I think is the original colour around frt suspension mountings a dark / chocolate brown, will look for the paint tag today"..........Mark..

Re: Hello
Hot 66, James, I know what you mean looking at people's locations south Cumbria seams to be very popular for early 911. I have had an exchange of pm's with johnm who is just a mile or so away from me and invited him to come and have a look and advise me,......Mark..
