Re: Restoring my first 914

Darren, you are quite amazing and put me to shame. I am starting final assembly of my 914 and do more thinking and shuffling than action. I had hoped to re use many of the seals but am thinking of just biting the bullet and buying a seal kit and upholstery kit from 914 rubber, what's your experience...

Re: R.I.P. John and Judith Woodget

That's really sad, although I hadn't met John or Judith they were clearly a lovely couple. Life is so fragile it's scary. Like everybody my thoughts are with the family.

Re: 912 1966 project value?

Let's start correcting now, I'll give you 6k  Nutty prices, we were the lucky ones, seven years ago you had a choice of 912's in the States for under $10,000. I've just made a fool of myself buying a Volvo PV544 living in Calafornia, the next thing to have you know. Described as solid floors, t...

Re: Coco Mats Group Buy?

I'm in, two sets minimum. Remember the last group buy and thought I'd wait till I had finished the 914, still not finished but getting closer. Tell us the plan and I will crack on.

Re: Bowing out

DDK is a massive part of many peoples Porsche life and that down to you Bootsy. How you keep things going is a hard one in this manic world in which we play but we have to find a way to help you. Massive challenge as the beauty of DDK is you are in charge. That I guess is your conundrum. Unhelpful I...

Re: Garage rent (what's reasonable?)

I have been looking in Edinburgh or Midlothian for a few years, I would pay upto £200 for a multi car garage that I could store a few cars in and do some work. Would love some cheap land and an "Uber Garage"
