Nathan If you use a combination that allows the use of that existing silencer (and it is shot), you can run an early 911 silencer (readily available from Euro / GSF etc - mine came from Watson Autoparts 01624 613832 - they were the cheapest at the time and delivered immediately). You need to ensure...

There are still alot of parts though as shown in that picture - just so we can attempt to keep ourselves warm! Now I need to decide if I try and get some new parts or source so...

Even this is an issue though as when I bought it there was no silencer attached as the ends of the heat exchanger pi...

It does actually look darker in that photo than real life and it is definately not much darker than the original patches of paint I can see under the bonnet! I was think...

Hi Rod I have a Laguna Blue (which is actually L50C) 1975 914, although it looks a bit darker than yours but it is dificult to tell from photographs! It has been resprayed at some point so I might come across the same problem as you when I come to match as I have found a few patches of 'old' paint w...

Luke As a start I would drop an email with the VIN and engine numbers to Marc Noack at the Porsche Classic Customer Centre. His email is Marc.Noack@porsche.de He should be able to tell you when it was manufactured, where it was first delivered to and maybe the options it was ordered with. He certain...

Richard (Turbo Thomas) fixed me up too, really good S/S set-up now, makes the best noise (though very civilised) and is proven to be most efficient. He'll provide you with just what you want, is a good bloke too, even though he did his best to set fire to Yeller!! AA Do you have any pictures of you...

Hello from Hampshire
Well having been lurking around on here for some time both before and after buying my 914 and wrongly doing an intro on someone else's 'For Sale' thread I thought I had better do it properly! I live in Alton in Hampshire and when I'm not working from home can be found in Wokingham or Bracknell, Berk...
