Re: I would welcome your thoughts!

It all depends on who has done the work and the history of the car, I have seen the advert for this car and as you say it has been for sale for around 6mths, not sure what the problem is. To give you an idea, I bought a wreck of a car for £10k (1958 A) a few years back, Roger Bray did a full restora...

Re: It has to go...

Re more horses, thats exactly what my head said, wanted something that wasn't precious, went like stink and a little bit different, oh and a car I could use all year round without worrying about rust. I bought a Lotus Elise S1, original shape, simply stunning performance and road manners, done a few...

Re: It has to go...

Wow, this is exactly what I went through at the beginning of the year, slightly different circumstances though. My long time business partner ripped me off, and the long and short of it, he spent my retire policy fund. To compound the above, my mother and father both died within a year of each other...

Using latest OS on Mac, browser Safari, also tried Chrome and Firefox, same error code, have done nothing different and now late Sunday evening can get on sire,...

Re: Toasted speedster spotted

This happened to my Chesil, the car went up like a bomb, full tank of petrol and on the M4, made the National News, closed the motorway down for an hour or so. The cause of my fire was the exhaust pipes, It had to be flat bedded the previous day when it broke down, when it went up on the back of the...

I have fallen into the trap of buying a fully restored US import which looked all shiney and new. However within a year the bubbles started to appear and once stripped back to the so called bare metal it was full of filler and the US fav 'bondo' etc. It might be fantastic and a really good buy, BUT,...
