If you're anywhere near North Hollywood you could call in to see Marco & Tony Gerace at TLG &/or Dave Bouzaglou at TRE Motorsports in Van Nuys.

Pomona swap meet is on the 15th jan, I think, used to be loads of porkie bits and pieces and cars for sale--we went in on the Oct 16th meet but were very dissapointed in porker stuff, however it was the Rennsport weekend so maybe everyone was there.
Whatever you do,,,HAVE FUN

Why not e-mail Magnus Walker

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche- ... hobby.html

there's been a couple of articles about him in the Porsche mags recently, where he's put contact details if people fancied chating about his cars - seems like a really good bloke and originally from Sheffield !

Got a fantastic collection of early 911's

+1 for a trip to Magnus Walker. Visited him in October after the Rennsport reunion and he very accommodating. His collection is second to none and he even shows you round his film location / clothing business which has featured in one of the fancy home magazines. The restoration of the cars is real eye opener too as he leaves no stone unturned.
Look for him at. http://www.downtownlafilmlocations.com/

This is one trip you cannot miss when in LA. The wife even enjoyed it.

Tim, when are you going? I'm off to Vegas next week and then onto LA, might be able to get a pint in?

Ha! I arrive in LA late Sunday! Typical.
Have a good time mate, pop around for a coffee when you are back.

If you have petrol/nitro in your veins check out the NHRA museum in the Pomona Fairgrounds.
I love the smell of burnt rubber and hydrocarbons in the morning, it smells of......victory.

If you need any parts, how about a visit to Automotion in Van Nuys.

You could have a look at Motor Meister in Downey, I was not over impressed, but there is a great diner just down the road, complete with waitresses on roller skates. Does car nights most nights!

If you just fancy a meal, try Barneys Beanery, Sunset Boulevard. The menu is a newspaper, the food great.

Enjoy
