Cheers Yes it's the handle bit I need, the lever has snapped off the other side of the pivot point from the handle you pull, I hope that makes sense! Is that the part you m...

Wanted 914 outer door handle
Doesn't matter which side or keys I just need one for parts as mine has snapped off the bit that opens the door.

Mine had the same problem as yours and it was just the inner bush, i just made one up and fitted it, its quite easy to get the arm off. Undo all the drive shaft bolts and them the rear brake calliper and unclip the flexi and handbrake cable. Then undo the 3 bolts on the outer plate of the arm and th...

steering shaft spline size?
Good morning all Got myself a nice wheel for the 914 but the splines are to small on the hub. Any one got any idea what size splines are on the steering column ? A quick look on Sunday they seem about 24mm but didn't have a vernier handy. Its a '75 if they change from year to year. cheers Gary

A few years ago in the VW sence when splits became cool. the price jumped up and everyone jumped on the band wagon importing splits and then bay's and even type 25's started going up in price, now look at T4's to. Good car are always gonna ge...
