Agree with Bootsy, the ghia is gorgeous. Had to take a double take on the ruby red resto cal, its the spit of my 61 ragtop (except for the obvious big hole in my roof!)

Steering Wheel

For a 1971 911. Only need it to push the car in and out of the workshop whilst restoring the car. Don't really want to leave the signature series Nardi in there whilst welding, grinding, swearing and generally throwing things about when it doesn't quite go to plan.

Targa Removal

I've started to strip down the 911 ready for restoration but as of yet haven't got to the removal of all the interior. I know that you ned to remove the aluminium targa cover before you can take out the back window, but I'm currently at a lose as how to do this. One thing I have noticed is how simil...

Can you tell I'm new to this

Can anyone tell me would my 71 Targa have come with a storage bag for the fold up roof. Or is it just a case of putting it in the boot. We've started the strip down of the car, and over all the body is in pretty good shape except the American style panel beating on the rear n/s wing  but the g...

WEltmeister Stickers

Any idea where I can get one from for the for front screen of a 1970 Targa. I managed to pick up the 2.2 sticker for the rear window direct from Porsche for only 1.53. Now I just need the Weltmeister one.

Paint Charts/codes

Can anyone recommend any decent websites that have Porsche colour charts and codes. I know where to find them for a Dub but Porsche codes are proving a bit of a head ache. The Targa has had the usual American paint job at some point in the past, but I would like to get it back to original. According...

Newbie from MK

Hello, Been lurking for a few weeks now as we have just taken delivery of a 1970 911T Targa last week. The plans are to get it on the road for the time being as I'm currently restoring a '61 Ragtop bug at the moment. We have already gone to the Husborne Crawley swap meet yesterday where we met Helen...
