I have an original black German made version (with the obligatory torn label) but I got it in a large parts purchase therefore untested; if of interest I am happy to send it for you to try and if it works okay send me £100.

Hi Tim Great car and fantastic to have got hold of some early history, having undertaken a similar journey myself with a '68 car it really brings the car to life. Looking at the photo it looks to me like 'Southport' written at the bottom......Southport Sands were used for time trials in the late '60...

Gary I have a pair of LHD H4 headlights boxed but used (got them like this so don't know their history, presumably removed from a car a number of years ago), could do with a strip down and clean but pretty good condition. I also have a few spare chrome outer rings as well as three spare original LHD...

According to the 72/73 parts catalogue (original paper copy) they take the same base gasket 911.731.129.00
