Many thanks...I'll now go for them.
I might even go for the whole lot, if they're that difficult!

Tyres for a 912
I have the chance to purchase 185/70 x 15" wheels for the 912. Will these fit?
Advice, please.

Update
We are doing the Cpe to Cape again... Now with updated (halogen) headlights so we can were where we are going at night! And more secure driver's side door mirror...useful in France on a LHD 912! Both those constraints were problematic when we took the 912 into France after the Norwich Union Classic ...

Cape to Cape Tour in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Although my tumour has been removed and chemotherapy was, seemingly, successful, I still need regular check up and would therefore support Macmillan Cancer Support as the DDK charity. But then I would, wouldn't I! To update the membership... Carolyn and I are in the throes of repeating our marathon ...

2007 Charity
Was there one? Carolyn and I are in the throes of repeating our marathon driving tasks in order to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and have, so far, raised just over £600...with a target of £2000 by 22 April 2008 (the day I qualify as an OAP! ). That's just a couple of days before we set of...

Engine capacity
I know this sounds silly, but it is a genuine question... My Registration Certificate states that my engine size is 1598cc whereas all other 912 engines seem to be 1582. And before you all ask...it has no engine number and it has been checked and confirmed as a genuine 912 engine, rather than a VW i...

I got mine lights from Euro Car Parts and I think they were about £70 each (3 years ago). Any contact details? I'm going to have to change my USA spec lights for H4 before we attempt the 2008 Cape to Cape. Interesting that my 912 has USA sealed beams, even after some time in Southern France...and I...

Solex carbs
Whilst I have no experience with this firm regarding Solex carbs, they did an excellent job on renovating the Stromberg CDs 125s for my Imp. They have just despatched a set of gaskets for the Solexes for my 912. The company is Southern Carburettors and Injectors down in Mitcham. Not, I appreciate, i...

Just what I've been trying to source for the last couple of years. Please let me know what's required and what is available and how to do it. Electrics do not worry me, mechanicals do! (I'm still learning!) If available soon, I should be able to fit before the Norwich Union Classic in mid-October. P...

Norwich Union Classic
Anyone managed an entry on the Norwich Union/MSA Classic Car run on 14 Oct?

How much is the event? Requests for entrants going out in about four weeks with requirement of a £250 deposit. Tour 2007 entry fee for the first couple of months was around £1100, later entrants had to pay slightly more: £1300. Still good value for an excellent event with 3 to 4 star hotels every n...

How much is the event? Lots of money... But it includes: Dinner, Bed and Breakfast at all the overnight hotels; usual rally plates; well researched and written Road Book; Gala Dinner on final night; Finishers awards and some special mementoes. And takes seven days, all told. But what an experience....
