Thanks Hi Darren I found that link on Pelican and thought at the time that I should save it but didn't. It would have taken forever to find it again and it is a gem - thanks. Also thank you Targa boy - you are right - have a look at Darren's link which confirms your info. However before I get to the...

Targa side seal
I have read all I can find about this (there is lots) and looking on Pelican I see that successfully fitting new Targa top side seals is a skill and requires knowledge and patience. I am about to modify my new seal by chopping off about 2mm from the front end of the seal where it meets the windscree...

Barry I would love to come along too. I am quite happy with lecture / discussion / demonstration rather than hands on although it always nice to try things out. Experts like you usually make things look easy and they never are at all. However already there are lots of people interested so just put m...

very crossed up on damp road this afternoon
I was very lucky not to collect a wall or worse so apart from the fact I need to learn respect again I think I would like to get a new set of tyres. I was looking for a set and noticed someone in the forum recommending Pirelli P7s I looked on tyretest.com and noticed that P6s come out even better - ...

Alan You are doing a really wonderful restoration and it is a joy to watch it progress so quickly. I am really pleased for the new owner to get a colour that they like and secretly a bit relieved that if it is not purple anymore and it will not seem like my car any more - so I will now not be jealous.

Jason, very nice. I trust you will keep it as long as the last one. Thanks Nick, I will try to take more care of this one. I must remember not to drive in the snow as doing so may have been the final straw for the purple one. It was good fun though. This time I do hope to keep it at least as long a...
