2007 Audi TT Quattro 3.2 Manual

Post by Gary71 »

It’s time…
For Sale: My 2007 Audi TT Quattro 3.2 Manual

Due to my impending departure from Bentley and hence the company car scheme, it’s time for a change!

Sadly this means my daily drive TT has to go as I need a ‘family’ car. Obviously despite my pending unemployment the 911 is staying and I’ll probably get something more sensible like an S4…

I’ve owned it since 2001 and currently on 110850 miles, but rising daily. MOT till December

Good points:
It’s a manual 3.2 VR6! Last of its kind. Probably another car I’ll regret selling along with all the Mk2 Golf GTis…
Sony Apple car play head unit running into factory Bose.
It’s had absolutely everything it’s ever needed and more mechanically.
In my time owning it’s had:
All new brakes, 4x dampers (Bilstein), the entire front suspension linkage set/steering arms, bushes, rear trailing arm bushes, 4x wheel bearings, radiator, condenser, coil packs, plugs, and more I forget.
Recently fitted Conti Sport contact 7 tyres on very good factory smoke grey 19” wheels

Serviced annually as low mileage. Just done engine oil and filters a couple of weeks back.
Haldex serviced & transmission oil replaced
Second set of silver factory 19” wheels also with Conti sport contacts. Minimal tread on those and only 3 wheels are round, but all balanced ok before I swapped them out.

It drives beautifully and despite the obvious drawbacks of fuel consumption and road tax I love the thing. So much torque that if it’s moving you only need 6th gear but it will still pull hard to the red line if you want.

Bad points:
20+ years and 100k + black car on original paint…
But factory front end PPF kit still in place
A few scuffs and marks
Aircon doesn’t work. - New condenser already fitted but needs something else. Holds gas for 2 weeks. Just drop the windows and listen to the VR6 Image
Rear screen has some delamination on the lower edge.

Prices are all over the place and I’m realistic that it’s a niche offer so £4600.

It will be back on its original plate soon.

I’m based in Cheshire UK.
Send me a message on here.
