Trunk light wiring

Hello.

Am I correct saying the black and white tracer wire goes to the light. And the brown earth wire goes the the switch terminal screwed to the bonnet?

Anything else I need to think about?

One issue I have is the wires don’t seem long enough to reach the light and the courtesy switch location?

Was thinking of making an extension wire the came colours?
