stock steering wheel wanted
looking for a good condition 914 stock steering wheel either type

The photos are from a year ago. I took them to sell it, realised they were blurry and forgot to redo them.
It’s in Cambridge.
A quick glance around suggests it might be worth ~£250 for the wheel and ~£100 for the butterfly but I’m sure I remember one selling on here for under £200 fairly recently. Happy to sell it for whatever it’s worth really.

how do i know which hub type i need as the car is a friends the car in question is the one paul hibbert used to own and was restored at mike brewers garage

It will depend on the model year :
Either '70/'71 - part no. stamped into the front face of the (flat) hub will end in '10'
or '72-on - part no. stamped into the front face of the (recessed) hub will end in '11'
There are 'hard plastic' (ebonite) & leather covered versions of both types - plus a slightly 'fatter' imitation leather (often referred to in USA as 'sponge') version of the later type (part no. ending in '809 00').
The remaining 2 versions (of the seven I mentioned) were for the 6 cylinder (914/6) models.
