Thanks Ian, but the S40i only controls ignition functions, not EFI as well. I'm running throttle bodies this year, so need both functions.
Thanks anyway.

Thanks but that’s similar to the DTA S40i, which doesn’t handle EFI. We specifically want one of the older DTA ECUs as new ones are reputedly having some problems associated with the chips currently available.

The DTA S80 was dropped due to chip supply. Maybe others in the range too?
The replacement, the T8 is all ok but fresh to the market.

Thus anything 'old' could be trouble ahead in later years.

There are plenty of alternative ECUs, but Graham Rawlings of Rawspeed, with whom I'm doing the engine, is the south west agent for DTA and prefers to work with them for a variety of reasons.

BTW, Graham (911hillclimber), by and large it's the newer T series which have had problems with microchips, not the old S series. Apparently DTA even issued a recall...

In conversation with Emerald now about my 6 pot/twin plug engine, even Megasquirt can do it!

If you have the ££££ go DTA.

Accepting the DTA dealer link, so going off piste a little.

I use a few Life ecus, they do a whole range, simple to set up and use, good data logging capability.
