DDK life saver

Post by DarthMJH »

I’ve been in hospital for a back operation (spinal fusion) and then caught an infection so was in for a month.

Just wanted to say, reading the DDK forum kept me sane during that time. Thank god for DDK. I enjoy reading all the posts, what a great forum.

Unfortunately looks like I might not be driving the car for a year.

Speedy recovery Mike

DDK / Resto Threads kept me sane during lockdown (a little less insane anyway)

Get well soon. What was the cause for the infection?

Thank you. Unfortunately they do not know, I had multiple tests but could not find the cause. I had 14 days of broad spectrum antibiotics which cured it luckily.

I have to go back next week and the week after for blood tests and a check up to make sure it has not returned. They are worried if it does the metalwork may have to be removed which they and I definitely don’t want.

Sorry to hear of your problems, but glad to hear that this madness helped ease the pain!

BTW, Spinal Fusion would be a great name for a rock band... Just a suggestion. ;)
