Porsche 914 blower connector

Post by neilbardsley »

Does anyone have one of these or know where I can get one? Even the part number will help?

It's the the plastic piece that connects the blower to the hoseImage

I would also take a none broken double one

Hi Neil, isn't there a VW part number on the twin outlet part you have?

There is a discussion here http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=169411 on 914 world that discusses the setup over the years and with better photos - not sure if you have seen it.
As far as I can tell the PET copy I have only seems to show the parts for the early engine mount type - really need one that shows the '73 setup to find the part number of the single outlet part.

The part number on the double only offers me ones from the US.

Do you have a link to the PET for the 914? I can't find it

Hi Neil,

You can download a PDF of the parts manual here - select 914 from the dropdown - worth saving a copy on your desktop

Cheers

The above is for EURO Spec Porsches, for U.S. spec Porsches go to Porsche USA as it will show the different parts on the U.S. Spec 914 https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessories ... catalogue/

Neil,

Will parts from a VW Type 3 or Type 25 not fit, with a bit of ingenuity for connecting them ups to your blower motor?
