SSI Heater Flaps

Post by leedurrant73 »

Collecting parts for my resto, I have already installed SSI a few years ago which are in good condition.
I have seen the are different types of Heater flaps available. Dansk do a set a little more expensive than the standard type. Is there any benefit paying the extra?

Thanks Lee

I still have these glorious originals which are great as a reference source....

Lol, not quite.....I've actually promised them to someone and they're being fitted to an RS.

Nice as reference source and not stainless.

The SSIs in this link are stainless and there are other stainless options as well

I've got those stainless ones on mine since a few years, quality and fit seemed fine but perhaps not the right product for the 100% original resto project.

I did the same and bought them because I’m not selling the car so expect them to be maintenance free for years
