Correct sill part number prefix help

Post by deano »

Hi chaps, I have decided to go for new original rear wings, inner and outer sills and need a bit of help on outer sills please.....

According to the parts list (snippit below), the sills changed between 71 and 72 on LWB cars, and those part numbers are no longer available.

My car is 73 and doesnt have the original sills (actually, it doesn't have any sills at the moment :))...

I think Porsche were selling a generic suits-all-years sill until quite recently, but think an early design might be available now?

I have had a good look around, but its not clear what the differences are between the original 71- and 72+ sills, which version(s) Porsche are selling now, and specifically whether they sell the correct 72+ version that I would like to use?

Can anyone shed any light on this, and the new part number/prefix please...?

Thank you !!!
