Re: Sun visors
Yes, they are unfortunately. However, just got a pair from Design 911... Cheaper than any others so might as well go with them.anglophone1 wrote:Keith- I just bougt a pair of new repro 911 visors from a Latvian ebay aellet- EUR 80 shiipped! Re: Sun visors
Hi Keith - just looked at the set - do you know if they come with the pins or do you need to buy them seperately?

Re: Sun visors
I believe they come as a kit - I guess I'll find out soon enough!
Re: Sun visors
If it does, makes for a cheap fix!!!

No, I'm at Goodwood all weekend. Anyway, I'm waiting for the paperwork to come back from DVLA before I hit the road in it.gallego wrote:^Saltash

Re: Sun visors
I swapped the pins from the new ones over to the original plastic hinges, which were fortunately still on the car, and they all work fine. The shape of the plastic hinges that come with the visors bear little relationship to what's actually needed...camperco wrote:There are some floating around with comedy hinges.
Re: Sun visors
Ah...I have two of the original and no pins - so you think buy the kit for the visors and pins and source a replacement (RHS) holder?!?

Re: Sun visors
That's what I"d recommend. They're not 100 per cent accurate but hard to find originals in perfect condition.
Re: Sun visors
yep - located some in the US but as you say, condition and price very different from Design 911
