RHD 914 on Ebay

Post by Porky Scratchings »

Not interested myself but noted this is a RHD conversion, showing Reg No NPL 188L. Remember discussions a while ago about the whereabouts of the Crayford conversations, is this likely to be one of those?

This RHD is not a Crayford, it is a poorly done home conversion.

The handbrake lever (which I'm not quite sure what it's off) is mounted under the dash in the centre.

Where the dash has been cut and repositioned, black electrical tape has been used to cover the cuts up! The Crayford RHD had a a proper moulded dash top.

The guy selling it was showing off about it on Facebook when he first bought it. About a week later he posted it up for sale. Maybe it was a bit worse than he originally thought

nice colour though... the brown flecks remind me of mine when I got it home. Still mine didnt have so many dings in the door. Knowing how much it costs to restore these things youd be better off buying a good one and then converting it... or saving some money and just not converting it.. part of the charm:-)
