American Import 15 or so years ago
New floors / sills
Engine - ~Type 1 vw 1835cc, Engle 130 cam, nice and revvy
Brakes - ~ VW type 1 disks up front, type 3 drums on the back
vw gearbox, full close ratio race box, solid mounted.
Boxster 's' exhaust box custom plumming.
Derrington replica steering wheel, basic interior.
Soon to be roll caged and raced. maybe even painted!!

Worryingly I totally agree with Cubist.
It always looks soooooo good it'd be a shame to lose all that patina.

well cubist, if you'd care to swap doors I'd be delighted :lol: I know what you guys mean, and I am usually adverse to painting cars (they were painted at the factory don't you know) but I need to do some body work at some point so rather than more patchy silver and overspray, I'm thinking of blinging it up a bit, be patient though, I'm talking in a couple of years or so :roll: :lol:
