Mig if you're only buying one - much more flexible.
Tig useful as an addition not a substitution

I have a TIG that I bought about 4 years ago hardly used cost me about a £1000 at the time I just have not had the time to practise with it and have now sent the gas back to BOC I never used 1 small cylinder, I can't remember the make and I am in OZ at the moment.

I have a cebora machine that will be for sale next week .
I am upgrading my kit and have just sent the machine in for a sevice so should get it back next week.
Will get some details ,I think it's a 180amp machine.
